REVIEW: FRESH SEABERRY FACE OIL

We often forget that while our hearts and livers are important, the SKIN is the largest and one of the most important organ we have, it covers us and protects us- why not take care of it?  SO… to everyone with dry/ combination skin or to those living in cold places, this is perfect!

Fresh has created a face oil which contains Omega 3,6,7 and 9.

All these omega’s are known as the “good fats”, they help your skin look healthier, they are responsible for the health of the cell membrane. It acts as a barrier to prevent harmful things crossing our membranes but also facilitates the passage of nutrients in and waste products out of our cells and bodies. (Sorry for becoming a health nut but you should also try eating some products which have omega 3 such as flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds, brazil notes, canola oil, grains, raw walnuts, great leafy vegetables like kale, broccoli, spinach, avocados, pecans, cashews, hazelnuts, pistachios, almonds etc.) In a nutshell:

• Seaberry Oil: Antioxidant rich, moisturizes, protects the skin from aging
• Cranberry Seed Oil: Maintains  elasticity
• Omega 7: enhances the skin’s healing processes
• Omegas 6 & 9: Improves elasticity, softness and smoothness
• Omega 3: Calms and Soothes

Now that the biology lesson is covered, I’m sure there’s one question on everyones mind- will I get pimples?

and the answer is.. NO 🙂

Omega 3, 6,7 and 9 often help clear up the skin faster because they reduce inflammation. Inflammation is a major contributor to acne. Of course you should take it in certain quantities, don’t over do it!

This oil itself is very light, absorbs super quickly (I’d recommend just using it at night once in a while), it leaves your skin pretty smooth and soft!  You do want to clean your skin before putting this one and it sits great under make up!

For those of you who are going to / have bought it- ONE drop on each cheek, spread it out nicely and let it dry and works its magic! It also helps eventually fade spots and as a bonus smells like heaven!
